So just a few minutes ago we shared about the leak of Pixel 4a retail boxes. Now we also have the news of the exact specifications of the smartphone. The Pixel 4a specifications are somehow up to the mark and rings similarities with Pixel 3a, but none of them matches, just the prices.
The Pixel 4a specifications include a slightly improved OLED panel which has the same diagonal size of 5.81-inch like Pixel 3a. You will get a Snapdragon 730 SoC, which is powerful if the prices are set in that way. There is also a punch-hole in the display, for the front-facing camera. Given that the smartphone is a budget-oriented, there is no Soli or face unlock sensor.
Just like last year, you will get a Titan M Security chip, and no Neural Core inbuilt. The Pixel 4a will have a 3080mAh battery and 6GB of RAM. As of the leaks, there is one 64GB model, however, chances are that you will also get a 128GB variant during launch. With no Wireless Qi charging support, you will get a Type-C port with support of 18W fast charging.
The primary camera on the Pixel 4a is a 12.2MP camera, which also comes with OIS and EIS. The front-facing camera is a similar 8MP camera found in Pixel 3a. The primary camera can record 1080p @30, 60 and 120FPS, 720p @ 240FPS, and 4K @30 FPS whereas the front-facing camera can record only at [email protected] FPS max.
Most of the Pixel specific software features are also available here. There is a 3.5-mm headphone jack as well. There are two color options – Just Black, and Barely Blue. Expect the pricing of the smartphone to be around $399 for the base model.
