Google is working on adding a new feature for its Pixel devices with Adaptive EQ. The news comes from XDA, where the member Mishaal Rahman shares information about the upcoming feature.
As per Rahman, Google is working on improving speaker sound quality by using machine learning and adapt to the environment you are in. Available in settings, this toggle, when enabled, will use your microphone to adapt to the surrounding. This will be done entirely on your phone, and nothing will be stored anywhere, that is once recorded, it will be automatically deleted.

You will notice this feature less likely if you use your device on high volume. Google has also implemented the same feature on their Pixel buds this year. Meanwhile, it is also rumored that Google is working on bringing Live Captions for Now Playing songs. These features are likely to come with new Pixels, and via an update to the existing Pixels.
