Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL users are complaining all over the internet that their devices are getting bricked out of nowhere. And this is a serious problem on its own, in two ways. A few months back, the devices did start getting bricked out of nowhere. However, as of now, the list is increasing by a very large number. On this subject, Google hasn’t announced anything.
Why are the Pixel 3 bricking, after all?
Well, the answer is, Google doesn’t know the reason too.
The bricking began months ago but has gotten serious with the recent times. Moreover, all these Pixel 3 and 3XL are out of warranty as well. People are taking over the support forums, and forums like Reddit for help. What they say about the issue is that the device bricks out of the thin air. Several users have also seen it happen. What happens is the device suddenly kicks in the Qualcomm Emergency Download Mode, which doesn’t even give you an option to install custom ROMs.
Some speculate that the issue comes from a very recent software update. Whereas some claim that the hardware has failed in the meantime. But by now, without any official statement from Google, we cannot say anything about it.
