Reported on 9to5Google, Google looks to be holding some sort of promotional offers for the Pixel 6 in celebration of Google’s birthday. Google will be turning 23 this year and what better way to celebrate the birth of one of the most useful companies in history than to offer deals on the most useful smartphone in Pixel phones.
The deals are usually different based on geographical location. In this case, it looks like Australia drew the lucky straw. The promotion says, “Buy & subscribe to get an offer on the upcoming Pixel 6”. Sounds like a win-win to us over at Purposely Pixel. As stated in the subtext below, customers who purchase items on the Google Store between September 25th-27th, will receive a promo code to use on the upcoming Pixel 6. By doing this, customers gain deals on an upcoming item and Google gains revenue and a returning customer. See, win-win.
With this deal, it looks right on course for what has been explained by Google in their Q2 earnings call stating large spending in advertising and marketing for the Pixel 6 series. We’ve begun to see the genesis of this with the gorgeous billboards we reported.
