Looks like the leaks on the Pixel6 series are endless. Thanks to Snoopy (@_snoopytech_), we now have the major details on the extended software support on this series.
According to the tipster, the Pixel 6 series is speculated will come with four major Android updates and five years of security patches. The claim of five years of security patches matches Google’s leaked marketing, although the leak didn’t include major Android updates.
So, this essentially means is that with the upcoming Pixe6 series, Google will provide its users with updates to Android 13, 14, 15, and 16 over the next few years. Along with this, the handset will also be getting 5 years of security patches
With the launch coming up, we shall soon know what this seeries is all about.
