Google is here to help more people with the new addition to its ‘Look to Speak’ accessibility app. With the ability to pre-program a number of phrases and access these simply by using eye contact, the app can really be a quality-of-life improvement for those with motor impairments and degenerative conditions.
Look to Speak is an app that lets users control the smartphone with just their eyes, by looking at pre-written phrases that the handset will then read aloud. The app focuses on providing enhanced control schemes and accessibility for those with disabilities and motor impairments.
In addition, with the latest and updates on the app, Google has really expanded and improved the volume of services offered by the app. The update gives the app 17 additional languages. It can be downloaded directly from the Google Play Store.
