Haylou W1 TWS is a budget-centric TWS launched by Haylou. Nothing new in that. This is a budget-centric TWS that claims to do good in the budget price range. Thankfully, our Sire Lenny got his hands on the earbuds and has tested it for you before you go around the street, running “I got best TWS which goes against the competition at a very small price.” Because if you try to do that:
Anyways, back to the topic. Lenny got this pair of earbuds two months ago. The package does look okay-ish with some claims on the box.
PS: These are all opinions of a single guy.
The package does claim to support Qualcomm’s aptX codec, along with Bluetooth 5.0 onboard. The charging/carrying case has a sort of cheap plastic feel. A single drop can lead to a bunch of useless buds (since you cannot charge it), so keep it safe. The case has three light indicators and has a Type-C charging port.
The earbuds do look promising. Although some people might find it hard to use gestures. Yes, it does have touch gestures. On either of them, you have a set of functionalities, like pausing the music and skipping tracks. For some people, the sound on earphones might be lower but ok for some. So you have to look for it as per your choice.
The entire set is IPX4 rated, so can be used in gyms and in rain. Call clarity of the buds seems to be OK, but not that good.
