Even though you can watch HDR content on your Pixel 5a, 6-series, initially Netflix didn’t add the device to the support page for support for HDR. But the firm has finally provided the necessary certification for the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, and Pixel 5a.
Before this year, many users have also complained about the HDR not working on their Pixel devices in December. Although Netflix provides certifications to the device long before launch, this time it took a bit of time to certify the devices. The app does mention the device to support HDR and HDR+ content, but the website didn’t before. Now the website has been updated for the same.
So as of now, you can stream HDR, HDR+, and HDR 10 content on your recent Pixels.
