With the sales of the Galaxy S22 series starting, Samsung has already started rolling out the first software update for the lineup. This should ensure that the handsets are as bug-free as possible when they are turned on for the first time by new owners.
The Galaxy S22 lineup includes – Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra which are all installed with Samsung’s One UI 4.1 skin with Android 12 on top. All devices will receive five years of security updates from the company.
This update comes with the firmware version S90xEXXU1AVB3. Samsung claims to have addressed more than 60 security and vulnerability issues.
It’s possible that the update will come pre-installed in some areas of the world, while others will need to check for updates after they’ve been set up. Head to Settings > Software update and tap on Download and install to see if the update is available for your device.
