Google is now rolling out the Play Pass for Indian Android devices starting today. For those who don’t know, Play Pass is a subscription service launched in 90 countries during the first launch which allows you to subscribe to all the apps on Play Store with no ads for a nominal price.
The Play Pass will let you play 1000+ apps and games for a month for a subscription fee, just like Netflix and Amazon does with their video content. As of now, there will be a free trial available after which you can subscribe for the price of ₹99 every month, or a prepaid price of ₹899 for a year, or ₹109 prepaid for a month. Alongside, the Google Family Group, you can share the subscription with 5 of your family members.
With this, Play Pass will also offer Indian developers to promote their apps on the Pass to get more exposure globally and generate more income.
After the service begins rolling out starting today, and once you receive it, you can begin your one-month trial by tapping on the ticket icon on the navigation bar, or tapping on Profile Icon > Play Pass. After that, the subscription for the service will begin unless you cancel it beforehand, in case you go with subscription and not prepaid options.
