Galaxy Smartwatches are the best in the industry, although a bit expensive, but do get their job done very well. Last year we saw a Galaxy Watch 4 which was the first one with Wear OS after Samsung ditched Tizen for the watch. This time around, Samsung is going to add a new skin to the Wear OS.
As per the report from ETNews, Samsung is working on adding the new sensor to the Watch 5. Even before, Samsung and Apple were trying to incorporate the sensor into the watch, however, due to several factors, such as ambient temperature, the sensor was put on hold. This time around, Samsung has developed a new tech for the same, which will allow the watch to detect body temperature more accurately.
Samsung may also put the same thermometer in the Galaxy Buds, but that is right now not being made available to the consumer anytime soon.
As per the reports, the Galaxy Watch 5 will be launched in the month of August. Last year, around the same time period, Samsung launched the new Z-series alongside Watch 4. So if things go as they are currently going, we might new addition to the Watch series as well as new Z-series devices in August.
