A few years ago, Google Photos used to allow unlimited backups for our photos. But then, it was made exclusive to Pixel devices, whereas the non-Pixels were set to the limited-sized backups, limited to the space in Google Drive. And then the Unlimited storage was removed permanently, regardless of the device. However, T-Mobile, thanks to its recent partnership with Google, has brought back the Unlimited backup exclusive to their customers. This will not be free, though.
At the very moment, the carrier is providing 500GB of Google One storage for a price of $5/month, up to 2TB for a price of $10/month. But soon you can access another 2TB plan which will include unlimited Google Photos backup.
However, this will be reserved for the primary account holder. But the 2TB storage can be shared among five more people.
The plan will go live starting April 26th, exclusively for T-Mobile customers.
