The rumored Pixel Watch was found at a restaurant in the U.S where it was apparently, the subsequent images send confirm what the design of the watch will look like at its release. The source forwarded these said images to Android Central but has requested that their name, or the restaurant name, including location, be kept hidden to protect their job.
Android Central, has reported that the official image of the watch might be announced during the Google I/O next month and be unveiled alongside Pixel7. If it is to be believed that this lost watch is “a testing model for the Internal Pixel team,” then it would be the first look we have gotten of the rumored “Rohan”.
Furthermore, in the images shared when compared to the leaked renders of the watch many similarities can be pointed out. The watch seems to have a minimalist design followed by a bezeless display as seen in the leaks. The watch’s band looks similar to jelly-like Apple Watch sport bands which means we can see more variations in the watch band itself than the watch; which will come in only a black variant. The back panel of the watch “looks metallic but feels like it’s coated with glass”. When booted nothing happened past the display of the Google logo, it is speculated that the watch has the OS installed yet on it.
Moreover looking at the accompanying box there is a note that indicates: “This device has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission and Industry Canada, nor has it been tested for compliance with EU regulations.” It also notes that this model is for “internal testing and development only” and that the “markings and packaging are not final.”
Speculated Specification of the Pixel Watch:
- Circular bezel-less display with a rotating crown on the right accompanied by two buttons
- Wear OS 3
- 5nm Exynos chip
- 32GB of internal storage
- Ten unique watch faces + Fitbit data integration
- Might support wireless charging in the bottom panel
- Functions – gyroscope, accelerometer, fitness tracking, and a heart-rate monitor
- Virtual assistant support
- Battery capacity to last throughout the day
- Color Variants – black
Moreover, there is yet to be any news on which regions Google plans to release this device but there are high chances that North America, Canada, and the E.U will be among the first to be considered for it. Further information on the watch will be given in the coming days.
