Supported Pixel devices are getting the May Security update along with some sets of fixes related to graphics, sensors, and UI.
Any Pixel, although supported only, will start getting the new May update, in a phased rollout. The users will start receiving the notification for the software update.
The May update brings in several bug fixes, along with the May Security Patch, which includes some critical fixes for the Remote Code Execution for the Bootloader, Elevation of Privileges in the kernel, and Information Disclosure bug in the Titan-M chip.
This update also comes with some Qualcomm-based fixes as well.
Alongside, Google has also patched the Display/Graphics issues where displays used to wake up without user interaction. This update also improves the haptic feedback for certain conditions. Alongside, there is a fix to the crash of the UI after restart in special cases.
The update is available for Pixel 3a and up. You can head to Settings for updating the software.
