Google is set to launch the next Pixel A series device – Pixel 6a this month, and apparently, the date is near as the pre-order date has been mentioned on Amazon’s website already. As per the page, the Pixel 6a will be available for pre-order starting 21st July. This will be an unlocked device so that you can swap in any carrier SIM as per your wish.
As for the availability, there will be three colors to choose from – Sage, Chalk, and Charcoal. This will be the first Pixel A device to feature an IP67 rating. For security, Google uses a Titan M2 chip inside the device alongside their own custom-designed Tensor SoC, made specifically for the Pixel series. It will also feature an OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, alongside an Aluminum frame and a plastic back. For storage, you will get to see 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, and 6GB of RAM.
There will be two camera sensors at the back, a 12.2MP main sensor with PDAF and OIS with an aperture of f/1.7, on the other hand, the secondary sensor will be a 12MP ultra-wide. This array of cameras will make the device capable of recording [email protected]
Out of the box, the Pixel 6a will come with 18W fast charging support, with a 4410mAh battery inside. And yes, no charging brick inside the box anymore. You will also get to see all the Pixel features and newest Android features before any other OEM users.
