Huawei has confirmed the official release date for its upcoming flagship smartphones. According to speculations, the Mate 50 series will be presented on September 6 in China, and we will see at least four phones – Mate 50E, vanilla Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, and a premium Mate 50 Porsche Design RS.
Huawei is also expected to launch XMage, its own image engine that will replace Leica in the creation of a photo-enhancing algorithm that would produce amazing night photographs.
All phones are also anticipated to include a HiSilicon-developed custom NPU that will do the arithmetic required by XMage.
