As Google prepares to release Android 13 QPR1 in the Android Beta Channel in December, Google Pixel 4 series has been dropped out of the Android 13 Beta program ahead of the release.
QPR or Quarterly Platform Release is an update that Google releases for its Pixel devices, as the name says, every quarter. Since the Pixel 4 series was launched in the year 2019, they will receive their last security update this October, however, the QPR1 Beta will be released in the month of December.
In the updated list, the following devices are now eligible for Android 13 QPR1 Beta updates.
- Pixel 4a
- Pixel 5
- Pixel 5a
- Pixel 6
- Pixel 6 Pro
- Pixel 6a
After the launch of the Pixel 7 series, we may see them on the list too.
As of now, there are two or maybe three security updates in line to complete the support cycle of the device, before it reaches the End of the Service period.
