Nintendo has announced that it will sell a new Switch OLED edition that is modeled around the next Pokémon game for the Switch. On November 4, the upgraded Switch OLED ‘s new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Edition will hit retail outlets in the US.
The front of the white dock of the Scarlet and Violet Edition Switch will include glossy drawings of the legendary Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon. On the dock’s reverse is a design reminiscent of a Pokéball that has purple and orange Joy-Cons with the same Pokémon as on the dock.
The Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly starting Pokémon from the future video games, as well as other symbols and insignia from the games, are shown on the back of the Switch and Joycons.
Just a few weeks before the November 18 release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, this special version of the Switch will be available at US retail outlets. The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Edition will be priced at $359, which is $10 more than the Switch OLED’s usual price.
