One of the features that Google mentioned during the announcement of the Pixel 7 was clear calling, however, it was later announced that it would not be available. They did say it would be included in a subsequent Pixel Drop, and it appears like December’s should be the one.
The feature makes use of the same background noise cancellation system as the Pixel Buds Pro. This machine-learning technology may enhance the voice of the person on the other end of the call while simultaneously filtering out nearby background noise. In other words, whether you are in a windy or noisy environment, the Pixel 7 can filter out those sounds before enhancing the voice of the other caller.
Google has added Clear Calling support for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro in the most recent Android 13 QPR1 Beta 3 build, which is scheduled to debut in December.
On a Pixel 7, go to Settings>Sound & vibration to find it. You may access the “Clear calling” option’s settings, which include a single on/off switch, by scrolling a little bit.
