The reports have been flowing in for a long time, that Samsung might be planning to downgrade the haptics in the upcoming Galaxy S23. Although this can be a rumor, it is a serious one and might become the truth in the end.
But, this also depicts one possibility – Galaxy S23+ and S23 Ultra might get the same or better haptics. the same haptics can be carry-forward from the Galaxy S22 series – which is bad in its own right. Bad – because the haptics is really bad in the Galaxy S22 series.
I own an S22. its haptics, without a case, is good, but not great. However, once you slap in a case to protect that premium glass, the haptics is non-existent.
Even if this is true, there is no chance that the S23 will be cheaper than the S22 at launch. Plus Samsung might again provide some heavily discounted gear like Buds2 Pro or Watch 5 next year to get those sales numbers.
The Galaxy S23 series is set to launch next year, in the first week of February. So we have a lot of time to get more rumors flowing in before the launch.
