OnePlus had a busy day yesterday as it introduced new devices and made existing ones more widely available. The OnePlus Ace 2 (for China) and the similarly situated 11R are two new products (for India). Though it was kept a secret, the corporation could have another comparable model.

According to Leakster Digital Chat Station, OnePlus Ace 2 with Dimensity 9000 is in the works. This may be a brand-new, marginally less expensive option or perhaps a limited-edition model; the name OnePlus Ace 2 Racing Edition has been suggested.

With the exception of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, the phone will have a 6.74″ (1,240 x 2,772 px) display, a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging, up to 16GB of RAM, and other similar features. The 64MP OmniVision sensor in the primary camera, which will replace the 50MP IMX890 utilized in the Ace 2 that was introduced yesterday, is a notable exception to that rule.

The Snapdragon-powered Ace 2 will be on sale in China on February 13 for a starting price of CNY 2,800 for a 12-/256GB device (currently the company is taking pre-orders). The Dimensity-powered Ace 2 should be a little less expensive if it exists.
For instance, Oppo released a variant of the Find X5 Pro last year that featured the Dimensity 9000 in place of the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor (non-plus). The starting pricing of the Dimensity variant was CNY 5,800 as opposed to the Snapdragon version’s CNY 6,300 price.
